Painting

Woho! The painting is nearly complete. We’ve added a new display area for our visual exhibitions in the lounge. Larger installations will be placed on the wall of the stage. After this we have electrical and plumbing to complete. The flooring and clean-up is set to happen next week.

White Boarding

Yesterday was the first white boarding party we held. There were more questions raised then answers given but the creative process was definitely happening. We discussed a number of subjects from members (patrons), the concept, and etc.

We really delved into what Studio No.7 is. After the meeting we went out for dinner and came up with our first sneak peak for our fans and supporters. Soon guests will be able to attend an open house before we open to the public. More information will become available within the next two weeks.

A Creative Conversation

Yesterday we toured the space renovations with two marketing friends ours (Jo and Joshua) who were ecstatic about all of the progress we had made. We discussed a donated item to the courtyard, memberships, and much more.

Afterwards we met up at the W Downtown for wine and discussed the plans for our soft opening, media and press party, and membership development. We discovered that S7 was going to be more grand than we’d originally imagined.

As S7 grows and comes full circle we will continue to update everyone on our progress.

Drywall Complete

Today the drywall has been completely installed in the necessary areas. Soon to go up is the drop ceiling over the main lounge bar. Followed by the plumbing for the bars, TEST KITCHEN, and restrooms. We’re expecting roughly 3 to 4 more weeks of construction. Afterwards the electrical outlets will be powered and appliances installed. Lastly will come the cosmetic work and cleaning.

Drywall and Installations

The drywall in the kitchen and lounge went up, stairs to the upper lounge were built, and rooms were cleared of general debris. The contractors worked diligently to size and shape all the drywall. The bar equipment was being stored on the upper lounge for the time being. The contractors are expecting to complete the drywall in a few days.
